Introduction to the use of lithium battery charger
The lithium battery charger is a charger designed to charge lithium-ion batteries.Lithium-ion batteries have higher requirements on chargers and require protection circuits. Therefore, lithium battery chargers usually have high control precision and can perform constant current and constant voltage charging on lithium-ion batteries.
The lithium battery charger has overvoltage protection and temperature protection. The lithium battery charger has an external current limiting charging power supply and a P-channel FET.It can safely and efficiently charge a single lithium battery. Its biggest feature is that it is not used.In the case of an inductor, very low power dissipation can still be achieved,in an 8-pinμMAX package. The charging control accuracy is 0.75%,which can realize pre-charging.The longest charging time limit provides secondary protection for the lithium battery. The floating charging mode of the lithium battery charger can maximize the battery capacity.
The lithium battery charger automatically detects the charging power supply and automatically turns off when there is no power to reduce battery leakage. After the fast charge is started, the external P-type FET is turned on.When the battery voltage reaches the set threshold, the pulse charging mode is entered. The P-channel FET is turned on for a shorter period of time.At the end of charging, the LED indicator It will flash at 12%of the cycle. When the charging power source and battery are within the normal operating temperature range, inserting the battery will initiate a charging process;the end of charging condition is that the average pulse charging current reaches 1%of the fast charging current,or the time exceeds the on-chip preset charging time.
